Once go SSD, there is no turning back to HDD

I use back the old HDD as my SSD got damage due to the SATAFIRM S11 issue. Using the old model HDD is very testing my patient. A lot of time, windows will go hang when the browser is downloading huge files or when you are doing files transfer. The whole computer seem like going on a stall mode where you cannot do anything.

Third time is the charm? Samsung 860 EVO SSD 250GB

Within 3 years time, I have burn out two same model SSD, Kingston A400 240G. Both encounter the "SATAFIRM S11". So I tried to test another brand which is Samsung 860 EVO 250G SSD. I'm not sure when this SSD will die out but one can only wait and see.

Retired Gadget on 24-02-2021

Today I retired 2 Apple gadgets, iPad 3 and iPhone 4s for the moment to clear my mind for a while.

Too many active gadget make me felt like too many things need to engage but not enough time.

My plan is to de-activate these two for 3 months.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 with S-Pen 2019

Today is the expiry date for my device warranty.

It has been a year since I bought this device. I feel like I have underuse this device. The reason I bought this device is due to my previous phone has damage and it has store warranty which allow me to claim store cash voucher. I use it to purchase this as there is no other phone that I want at that time.

Microsoft Whiteboard

Since OneNote not suit my need, I found another software by Microsoft which is Microsoft Whiteboard. It has similar features as OneNote which make me think it is strip down feature of OneNote.

Currently the software only available in Desktop installed from Microsoft Store and iOS. Still no news when it will available for Android.

As the name suggested, it is more on the drawing then note taking which is what I want. I can open the whiteboard across devices using my account but I wasn't able to find where the file is stored at.

The structure is very simple. It use whiteboard concept similar with Google Jamboard but Jamboard has terrible pen writing smoothness.

For now I will keep using it until it prompt some tricky issue that might force me give up the software like OneNotes did.
