Apple Watch

Finally, the Apple has officially announced their smart watch.
Well, still early to say anything as everything still are just talk cock only.
Have to see the final product first.
One thing that is confirm with the watch is it is very damn expensive.
349 USD is not a average Joe would carry in their hand.
Anyway, smart watch would be the future in mobile world.
Not that the future would be looking good.

LG G3

LG G3 is the latest flagship android phone that packed with almost identical with others flagship phone except one thing that I particular surprise of.

The laser sensor for camera.

Well, when you out of ideas, just pack it with all the things that you have.
To be honest, I already cannot recognize what is what anymore with these almost the same design.

Zenfone 4 vs Nokia X

Wonder how well Nokia X is now making? With Asus Zenfone 4 that have away better spec and price, can it still grad a piece of market? Let's face it, Nokia X selling RM 400++ with Android 4.1, 512MB ram and 4GB storage that cannot take selfie compare with Zenfone 4 selling RM299 with Android 4.3, 1GB ram and 8GB storage that can take selfie, whose your daddy now.

Unless you are a fan-boy which never the subject to discuss, you should know what to pick.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3

Silently Microsoft have announced the new Surface Pro 3 which is 12" tablet.
Now this time they have packed it with 2K screen and a powerful CPU.

What I like the most about Surface Pro series is get to see Panos Panay making the presentation. It always make me feel a bit funny about the way he make the presentation.

This time he make a drop test to show people how durable the device are.

Lucky the device still working as in presentation, shit happen.

Anyway the Surface is a very nice device but expensive also.Too bad.

Keep on chanting

What would you feel when you hang out with a bunch of people and yet they are busy chanting with others peoples through mobile devices.

Since the dawn of mobile chant start to take form, people start to forget how to talk to life people anymore.
Maybe the person that they chant is very important than the people that they with at the moment.

If that so, then why they came out at the first place?

Along what I see in around me, all that I can see is that they keep busy chanting with others peoples.
They have a lot of things chant with and none for the real people.

Maybe that just because I don't have others to chant with.

Upgrade Netbook

I have a HP netbook which I got it since a year ago. The reason I bought it was due to I need a computer that was quite and less heat so that I can collect material from internet continuously. Beside it should consume less power in the process.

The performance of this netbook was below the par for normal usage. A lot of application are unable to operate smoothly. They can run but laggy. The screen resolution also are too low, 1024x600 which below normal 1024x768. I never understand why they come out with this kind of laptop. The battery is really suck. You can only use around an hours or less for the battery that they gave you. Unless you buy a bigger capacity but that involve extra cost already.

The cpu is using intel’s Atom processor which was likey based on old Pentium 4 architecture. The purpose was to create a low power consumption processor which mean less performance.

Overall the netbook is just a small laptop that was use as a side toy for user. But it fit my requirement of a laptop. I thought I can bear it due to its pricing but I was wrong. The laggyness of the netbook is over my assuming.

I cannot watch higher resolution movie using this netbook. Any video more than 480p is lag for me.

So, I only use it as a material collection server which run 24/7.

Nothing much I can say to the netbook.

Up until today, I realize that the performance can be improve by adding extra ram to the device. But the trick part is DDR2 ram is expensive. So I have to go for second hand part.

I got a nice offer and I manage to install it. Now, my netbook is better off. But still, watching higher resolution video is out of question. It was due to the intel GMA display chipset as it cannot handle much more than that.

So, hopefully I can manage to expand my utilize of the netbook but look at the spec, it was too much to ask.

Wireless Broadband(slowband)?

Today meant a lot to me, after just coming back from KL I directly go to apply my first broadband services which ask their customer to POTONG.

I didn’t pay much attention on what the staff there said about their services as we all know what I am about to in the end is no way near what they have promised.

I picked the maximum speed that they can provide, the 4Mbps one. I know that that speed is just a myth only. The reality is a cruel bitch.

I just want to know the final payment for the activation and the monthly bills that will suck my wallet for the next few years. If I can stand their services quality that long.

After the initial payment of RM100, I take my modem back home.

At home, I need to find the best spot for my modem as signal are too unstable to trace. I carried the modem like a feng shui master looking for the correct spot that suit me. So far, not so good.

The staff ask me to wait for one hour to allow the modem to communicate the signal tower. Hmmm.. in a digital age, even the electronic device need that much time to communicate. They really much have a lot to chit chat about.

So, after that, line on and the speed? What people said sometimes have their point also.

Now, mark the start of my journey to the HELL of broadband.

My phone

Which phone will be my next phone?

After using an old Nokia model E51. I started to think about the specification that I want on my new phone.

After a long search, still no model that suit me.

Currency Exchange

Once the rate between Malaysia RM and USD is 3.65 and all the imported product are very pricey. Then when the USD is higher, the price when along.

So this give us the impression that our goods are depend on currency exchange. When it up, price up, so logical thinking, when it down, so does the price, right?

Recently, it prove me wrong, Dead wrong.

There is no such thing as

Now, with the currency exchange now on 3.0006. I still have to pay the same amount of money for the product. Price don’t change. At least not down.

So, when people wanted to suck your money, even the 1001 Arabia night story are no match with it.

Drinking Mug

A few years ago, I saw this mug at ads. A girl is holding it and taste it. I thought it was just a prop only. Later on, I saw a coffee stalk is serving coffee with it. I never knew how to get one. Then after a while, it is for sales and I was there. Without a second thought, I bought it. I didn’t want the coffee but the mug is a gift for purchasing the coffee. For all that long, I finally have it. I should directly have the taste at that night. Yet after purchase it, I still didn’t use it. I kept for nearly 6 months.

So, now here is to my mug.

Hand Phone

For ten years, I have change several type of phone. All were free cause no one want to use it anymore. The first is NOKIA 3310, the hottest common hand phone on the block. You can see plenty of people using these model. My father give me the phone. Since it is free, why not. I just only use it for basic usage like phone and messaging only. After a while, the battery had issues which also a common issues to every 3310 user.
Then I change to my brother's phone, the NOKIA 8250. It is quite small and compact. I like it but the weakness is that it cannot display message that is long. Or should I say it can only support short message. I use it quite a while also.
Then I change to my father's phone, NOKIA 2100. This one I didn't use it very long because the keypad issues. It keep other's from borrowing my phone to send message or phone. The key pad make it hard to press. If the key pad is still ok, I might not change to new hand phone.
The latest hand phone that I now having is the NOKIA 3110C. It is the cheapest hand phone in NOKIA that had all basic requirement one can ask. Even though All my friend's hand phone are much much high level compare with me.
