Stay Or Not To Stay

Recently, a lot of my colleague had resign to seek better offer. They gave a lot reason why they left. One can make a conclusion it is because of our company policy are not fair. It all start when my company decided to terminate one of their old worker due to economic crisis. A man who work for their boss for 7 year had being chosen and being terminated just like that.

Then, the company's situation started to become tension. Some started to feel that the company is hopeless and plan on resign to seek better offer. Yes, other company are much much better. They never terminate their worker whatever their company status are. They will still give out bonus to worker even though the company profit is suck. Yes, there are still exist company utopia. But if these utopia exist, then why still have people resign from there? Nobody never give me the answer.

I admit that my company really suck at the moment. Never know when I will loose my job. Seeing people leaving sometimes tempting. Now, those who resign are hero and those who still stay are loser. Only loser stay in loser company. Loser, what a name for those who stay. If I were to resign, what do I write my reason? People resign I resign? People said the company suck while I feel that all the company are all the same suck? Could I be a loser as they said just because I know once I resign it is hard to search new job at these kind of economic tension? Do what people do? Follow the trend?

Stay or not to stay? That is the question.

Buckle Up, Please

Started from year 2009, our nation car passenger need to buckle up for the safety of our precious. Failing to do so will cost you a fortune. It is said that it will save your life once you buckle up. The law is enforced to all the car that is after 1995. Car that is before 1995 is excluded from this law.

So, what happen to the safety of passenger for those who own car before 1995? They didn't bother because of your car design. You are on your own now.

For those who need to buckle up, don't worry for the 4th passenger at the back because 'no' Malaysian will carry more that 4 people at the back. The safety of the 4th passenger also not in the consider of the government. So the 4th passenger are free from buckle up but then again a law will enforce on the 4th passenger, Overload. A private use car cannot carry more than 4 passenger at the back. Sorry, please step out of the car, please.

Don't bother to educate the people because people wouldn't understand. The rules already being announce to public for the pass year. But only at the last minute they decide the rule and sign it in a hurry.

Since the laws is effective right now, be alert on buckle up, please. Hope this can really SAVE life.

StarWalk 08

For fat lazy guy me to join the Starwalk '08 was a shocking news among my friends.
They all laugh at me and said I was crazy. I would be collapse at the start of the walk.
The walk is estimated 10KM long.
No men among my friends had tried to walk that far since the dawn of obtaining transport vehicles.
Despite of their laugh, I process it since I had pay the fees.
The organizer had give out a lot of goodies like T-shirts, sample of product and vouchers that the amount already payback the fees.
Me and my friend arrived at the starting point around 7am since the walk start at 7.15am for non competitor.
The walk for my category started and we all walk.
It was a fun experience to walk around the town site and factory site in the middle of the road and you don't have to worried about the cars. All the road were blocked out.
Surprising that one of my old friend was the judge of the day. Did not want to disturbs his duty so I did not talk to him.
As I can see during the walk is that I was not in the last group. I was in the center of the group. That was a breakthrough for me.
After two hours of walking, me and my friend finally arrived at the finishing point.
The place was now turning to a carnival. There were a lot of promotions held at there.
After a quick sample testing, I decided to go back.
I thought my stamina is so tough that I don't have pain for my leg after the long walk.
I was wrong and it took three days to prove it.
Damn.

Savage World

Working 7 days per week is an ideal worker for boss in Asia.
The boss here appreciate worker who would sacrifice their freedom for the good of these boss's company.
Worker should do what ever they can to support their boss luxury life and in return for the boss to spare some of their profit to the worker.
A worker should be grateful on this because the worker's wealth and fare are depend on their boss happiness.
One will not be in happy if one boss is not happy but one unhappy worker will not be a concern for one boss as they can always seek for new worker with easily.
A worker will be a silly worker if he or she thinks that everything will be payoff after a hard work. There is no such thing in life.
Look at the salary, as the increasing of company profit, a worker's salary increasing is a fantasy. It all depend on the mercy of their boss.
A boss can give you a hundred and one reasons for your salary adjustment and it took years for them to increase it but it only took a quick cap for them to cut off your payment even without a reason. If a worker ask too much, then they will remove all obstacle in their company.
Remove, terminate, re trend or whatever the name they can give just to stop worker from getting a decent payment.
The old rules of savage business will exist in modern day.

HACK for Hacker

Hack, one of the candy that I like the most.

A candy that can damage my tooths and it did the job nicely.

That is a price that I willing to pay.

In life, you need to give up something to gain something.

Isn't it?

The one that I like the most is the original flavour.

The so called Black Hack, at least that what I call it.

I like the taste of it, especially when drink with cold water.

A sudden cold in your throats.

Doctor said that consuming the hack with the above method will cause your throat damage. I heard the advice quite long now but still, where is the fun of having Hack without cold water?

The Hunt For Red October

The Cover The Back

The Hunt For Red October is a novel by Tom Clancy that was published on 1984 .

I just finish read it last week. I had read it one day (a chapter is one day in the story) preday. Didn't want to read it so quick. From the whole, it was a nice novel with a thrill. It is just that I not quite can imagine the military vechiles that appear in the novel as I never pay attention on these stuff.

The story was about a soviet newst submarines was trying to come to USA to defect. The Russia know it and was fully mobilize all her naval force to stop it. This act had provoke the USA and the game has started.

The novel was made to movies which I had watched much early that the novel. The movies is quite compact since it has only two hours limits. But with Sean Connery as the Russian Captain Marko Ramius and John McTiernan as the director. It is a nice movies to watch.

Jack Ryan, the hero in the novel is an analyst that being dragged to the incident. With his bold guts, he had help the Submarines to defect successfully.

This is just the beginning of Jack Ryan Saga.

Worker of Sorrow

What is the worth of a worker in the eye of the company?
A valueable or expendable?
What a boss want from their worker?
Loyalty, productivity?
As the worker help the boss make profit, how much return from the boss to worker.
At the profit, the boss said need to evaluate a worker performance to make sure he or she deserve the return.
At the loss, the boss won't hessitate to sack their worker regarthless the worker's performance.
Loyalty of a worker, it is like a fairy tales in the working enviroment.
Once the worker existence conflict with the boss benefit, the worker will be removed.
They can give the worker a lot promise but they are not obligable to keep it due to situation.
Nothing personal, it is just bussiness.
A worker is still a worker, they cannot cross the line.
Boss can be the worker friend but the worker cannot be the worker boss friend.
There is a border, once the worker cross it, prepare the consequences. It is like the social struture in the old India. Worker are at the worker level. Boss are at the boss level.
Never think that the worker have worked so long with the boss and so loyal with them and the worker had help them on their bussiness that they will take care of the worker when the worker in trouble.
Keep on dreaming and so day the when the worker wake up, it will be so hurt that the worker will wish they never help them at the beginning.
